The Saboteur, Force Unleashed (Sith Edition) and Enslaved: Odyssey to the West are three games I started to play and gave up on shortly afterwards. They weren't really that bad, but other better games got in the way and I haven't returned to them yet (but probably will some day).

Your mistake, it becomes quite excellent later on. One of the top10 PS3 games as far as I'm concerned, although Yakuza 4 is even better.

All signatures sucks, especially those with images in them.

Most recently for me was Inversion, played maybe the first 3 levels and really couldnt find the will to continue playing it.

Its not a bad game tbh...very samey but playable and at about 12 hours for the campaign not bad at today's standards

Had a few of these sorts of games over the years but the newest being Tour De France 2012....did have a clue what was going on

SPLITTERS!!

Skyrim.

I knew it wasn't for me before I even played it but given all the hype around that game I thought I should at least rent it and give it a go. Played it for about 5 minutes before taking it out and sending it back. I don't even remember what it was that I hated so much!

Is that the one that came free on PS+? Yeah, I gave up on that one after one lap. Terrible game.

I'm not sure that's how this game works :smileylol:

Easy, had it not been for the fact that I had to review it I would have given up on 'Amy' within 20 seconds.

A few recently.... Alpha Protocol (bought very cheap), far too clunky controls and the dialogue was shocking. Deus Ex too, got it free on PS+ and played it for about a couple of hours and then deleted it, not for me at all.

Not so much instantly as I do try to finish games regardless of how bad they are. Like a bad film, I still have to see how it ends :smileyhappy:

But..

Shift 2: Horrible dead zone and handling, it was unplayable with most cars trying to keep them in a straight line. God knows how it was ever aloud to be released. Played a few races then gave up, traded it in.

Prince of Persia Trilogy: Again horrible and clunky controls, bad level design, repetitive and shallow gameplay. Bad sound and none of it was even fixed for the collection *slow claps*. I strained through the first game as I hate unfinished stories, but just couldn't carry on with the other two after trying the second game in the hope of some improvements. So traded it in.

Shadow of the Colossus: Seriously how can this game get such good praise??? I thought POP had bad and clunky controls, just trying to run around on that horse was infuriating, never ming trying to cling onto a Colossi :Argh: Never has a game wound me up as that, especially one I had hoped and looked forwards to coming out in HD for so long. ICO wasn't much better, but at least I finished that.

Despite all this I didn't trade it in, in the hope that one day I can play it and enjoy it for what it is as the music and atmosphere is what these games are really about.
