After my 360 broke the other day, I decided enough was enough.

I ahve wanted a PS3 for quite some time, but the original release date pushed me towards the 360. Don't get me wrong, the Xbox has some legendary games, but the machine its self really got on my nerves.

Anyway I am coming back to Playstation after being a SONY gamer from the PS1& PS2 days(ahhh. Good times ). So I am off to game for the 120 GB Slim version, with Tiger Woods 2011 for £259.99.

What I want to know from you chaps, is what games I have missed out on. Not talking about well known PS3 exclusives from the last year. But more the sort of hidden gems like Viking : Battle for Asgard and games like that, that went pretty unheard of on the 360.

I mostly want the PS3 for G1 Jockey 2008. Gran Tourismo 5. Metal Gear Solid 4, but what else is worth checking out? Not an FPS fan, more an action adventure/rpg/sports fan.

Yeah but I can't trade my 120 GB HDD and 360 games towards it at ASDA.

Will I also be able to use this ID when I get my PS3, or will I have to start a new one?

Metal Gear Solid 4, Uncharted 2, Killzone 2, Heavy Rain, inFamous, MotorStorm (any of them ), Demon's Souls and MAG should all be on your hit list. All only on PlayStation - and the titles which can give you the best out of the console

Oh, and if you like awesomeness - get Warhawk. However, the game has been out for 2 years so be prepare to have your rear end served to you on a pla\tter whilst you get used to it

Ah I think I remember you from the Xbox forum. I was DTiceman over there. Anyway it's good to see another friendly gamer join this forum so welcome. And there are lots of brilliant games that you need to check out. Including the first Uncharted game which has aged quite well. Also, littleBigPlanet is truly outstanding, along with InFamous and Killzone 2. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your new PlayStation 3 and if you'd like to add me on PSN my ID is - WRXiceman

You can use the one you logged into the forum with. Check out this video for a walkthrough on creating a new account - the only thing you'll do different is select 'use an existing account' rather than 'create a new account'

And to answer your question, Yes. You can use that ID you've already created. As long as you use the same e-mail adress and things like that when you get on your PS3.

I highly recommend Demon's Souls, i got it a few days ago and have racked up 10 hours already and only got through the very first part.  it's an rpg so if you like all the leveling up, buying new equipment and character customization you'll love it.  But it is incredibly hard and you will die...ALOT
