SSX - putting the 'fun' back into gaming since last gen! Not many games have excited me this much this generation

That's your first mistake right there. Its nothing like a standard snowboarding game, Its an adrenalin fuelled rollercoaster of a ride - WipEout on snow! Its over exaggerated fun especially when you're up against friends online finding the best route down a mountain while pulling off crazy tricks from all the ridiculous amount of air time you get

Its obviously not to everyones taste, and I cant say I'm a huged fan of snowboarding, I'd like to go and try in some day. But the rush and fun I get from playing these games nothing else comes close and that's all that matters

I recommend people that don't know what the fuss is about download the demo (I've read there will be one but don't know when) or rent it when it comes out.
If you don't like it fine but I bet at least half the people who try it will love it

I cannot wait for SSX as well! I went skiing at the start of the year and I've been wanting SSX to hurry up and come out. Probably the game I'm looking forward to the most this year.

I loooove SSX, it was the first game I ever played online with the old network adaptor. Will have to set up some events for the game to see who the forums best boarders are!
