Hi can anyone help me? Everytime I try to install Gran Turismo Prologue on my PS3 I get an installation error when the game is almost half installed? Because of this I cannot play the games as it prompts me to exit the game after the failed installation.

Please help me! I have GT5 (platinum) pre-ordered and I hope I dont experience the same issues with that.

Are you using a PS3 to instal the data ?

Well I have a 320gb hard drive installed in my ps3 so I should have plenty of space left over on it! But let me just go check anyway, 1sec!

The PS3 has Free Space of 133/298 GB, but there is no error code number it just says An error occured during installation? And then it prompts me to Hold down the PS button to quit the game??

"The solution was to download 1gb (or more) of files first. The person from the helpline suggested downloading demos or burning CDs to the hard drive. Sure enough, after I'd downloaded a few demos the game installed just fine. Aparently this can be a compatibility issues with some games made before the 80gb PS3 was released."

I think the same happened to me I can't remember for sure , Delete any GT data on your PS3 , Load up the game and do not do a full install,Play a game online or off,quit the game,Load it up again,Now do the full install.
