Re: HD PVR Help (setup)

I know this may sound like a stupid question, but can you record gameplay with Sky+?

Re: HD PVR Help (setup)

[ Edited ]

Conversion of files can take a while depending on the speed of the pc hdpvr recorder uses a lot of cpu and graphics power  this may be why your seeing slowdown in your videos

i have one of the hdpvr recorders, the format the hdpvr records in is M2TS and will not work on youtube so to covert the file i use the total media extreme arcsoft media converter which is on the utilites section on the arcsoft programme, this can take a while to convert the file because of the size and compression needed, but i've not noticed any difference in quality once the file is converted.

After the file has been converted i then use windows movie maker to edit the footage or just add the file i want to make a clip of ,on windows movie maker click on file then publish movie on next screen it says were do you want to publish your movie then click this computer then name the file

On the choose settings for your movie file  click on more settings, the option i choose is windows media hd 720 p(5.9 mbps) i've not used any other settings but i  saw a tutorial and that was the settings that were used in the video, when the settings are to what you want click on publish then when the file is finished it can then be uploaded

this is a clip i did of red dead redemption i made using the settings above http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LpdzKdbxkM

Re: HD PVR Help (setup)

Ok, i just got my component cable from HMV its a ps3 sony licensed official cable, i have it plugged from my pc to the bottom of my pvr, i go to component/d-terminal but nothing shows up on the component setting on my TV nor on the hd pvr. How do i get it to go onto my tv screen and pvr screen? I have tried resetting the pvr and all that other stuff but it just wont show up. Any ideas?
