I have some spare money to spend and was wondering if anyone

has got the Astro A40 audio system - link

if you do i have a few questions 

1. is it worth the insane price tag

2. sound quality as good as everyone says? how does mw2 sound (e.g. footsteps, explosions etc)

Don't know about those ones, but I have some Sharkoon Digital X-tatics Linky

They're Dolby Digital 5.1 compatible with a microphone for voice chat and they sound awesome on CODMW2. They are expensive though and wired. I love 'em though.

If you have a permanent room to set up in I'd say buy a digital in/out compiant amp and some 5.1 speakers.

can use it for more than just gaming then, more for your money. and I bet you can get it cheaper than all that.
