Everytime I goto download something from psn store or do big updates, it takes forever to download them. And I do mean forever, example: I went to download demo Heist and it said 2000+ minutes to download it.  I saved all my game data and wiped my ps3 clean and it works better; however, a month later its back how it was, slow.  Could someone explain what I can do other than wiping it clean again. I'm just starting to think it just an old ps3 and thats why it runs like this. its an fat ps3 80GB.

whats ur internet connect? what time are you downloading? are you wired/wireless? could be many reasons

I had similar problems(not as severe) with a 60gig fat,but have recently got a slim and it does seem a little better?.But i am changing my IP to BT infinity 25 meg download speed 

It is a bit more expensive but it'll save me on my electric bill!

Oh yeah i am currently getting 4 meg!

I'm on BT Infinity: I'm getting 35.48Mbps Download with 8.56Mbps Upload.... well worth the money.
