Help with ps3 slim

im am going to trade my 40gb for a slim can anyone tell how to deactivate my account from the 40 gb and re activate it on the the slim.any help would be appreciated.

On the current ps3

Account management>deactivate account>ps3

to activate on the slim just go to the sign up for PSN icon and choose use existing account and put in your details
