Hey guys can you help?

Hey so I'll cut to the chase I was on a mini game(age of zombies) and it froze on loading but at the menu it acted strange it kept saying auto saving and did not stop so I just pressed play and it froze on loading is this normal? Like is it normal for ps3s to freeze sometimes
