Hi, I have a problem with playing some downloaded content.

The problem I have is with movie play back. My old 60gb ps3 died last year and I am unable to even switch it on. I have since replaced it with a new 250gb system and wish to download some rental movies from playstation store. The only trouble is that whenever I try to do so I am told that I can continue the download on the new system but will be unable to play back the movie as I already have an activated system on my account!!! I gather that this would be my old 60gb. does anyone know how I can deactivate the dead system so that I can the activate my new one?

You can call customer support and request a movie store deactivation due to YLOD

should take about 24 hours but they can deactivate it for you.
