How about a PSN store 'wishlist', and game 'gifting'

I'm a big fan of the content on the PSN store, but it sometimes comes in waves (a lot of games, and then a break, and so on), and I only buy games when I've got time to play them, and generally one at a time, unless there's a couple of MP experiences that my mates are getting into.

So I haven't, for example, got into Journey, Limbo, Hoard or a number of other games on the PSN store that I will at some stage.

Would be awesome if (like Steam and Gamersgate, and some other sites on PC) we could 'tag' games on a Wishlist so that when we get to a 'dry' patch in releases, we can bring up games we'd had an eye one quick and easy.

Another great thing from Steam/Gamersgate is being able to gift games to mates.  Works well on Steam, and would only be a plus for sales.

Just some thoughts - it's great as is, but these kind of things would only likely increase sales from Sony's angle, and increase options and make things easier for gamers :smileyhappy:.

I would love wish list functionality personally too. Not only that but actually sorting through our download list instead of one huge sprawl of content. Free demoes, DLC, full games, game packs, it all just gets really cumbersome and a long term user like me across multilple playstation platforms it's really hard to manage. It'd be great to simply select say "bought games" see what's installed on the system, what isn't for instance.

Well said Smokey - I was actually very, very close from including that as well in the OP, but didn't want to overload it. Top points :smileyhappy:.

great ideas guys, and all of them wouldn't be too tricky to implement.

Axe, you gotta play through journey atleast once. It only takes about 2 hours to play through the whole game. I'm sure you can give Birds Of Steel a miss one evening and go on a journey :smileywink:

lol, don't worry Eco, I deffo will. I'm just struggling - other than clan stuff or some BF3 practice, every time I get on the PS3 I'm like "what'll I do?" "Oooh, could fly a Mosquito in a ground attack mission over the Ruhr" or "Defend midway against incoming bombers" and I'm lost! I'm starting to feel the need for some variety though, and the bit of Journey I have played was excellent :smileyhappy:.
