So my ps3 just yellow lighted and Disgaea 3 is stuck inside.  How do I get it out?

2: The warranty is with GAME not Sony, do you think they would care that I unknowingly removed the warranty sticker from the last time they "fixed" the console?

3: Assuming I don't get the console back and up before the store returns, what are the chances I'll be able to download my copies of the free games on someone else's ps3 without consequence?

To get a disk out, take off the top cover. Unscrew the screws and take apart the case. Take out the blu ray drive, take off its cover, remove the screws from the drive, take it apart and remove your disk.

if your machine isn't a 60GB try the fan test to eject your disc.

in case you don't know.

1. make sure the machine is off at the wall

2. hold down the eject disc button

3. turn the machine on while your holding the button down.

4. you should hear the fans blowing quite loud. while this is happening keep pressing the eject button.

your disc should eject, if not tilt the machine downwards so the disc try is facing the ground and keep pressing the eject button.

Don't hold me to this, but I was told by a couple of people that if a machine is fixed under warrantee then they must still adhere to warrantee rules despite the sticker being removed. Just tell them they have previously fixed the PS3 and that is why the sticker is broken.

it will show you what to do!!! does work too as i did this only last month!

In the future if you need to remove the sticker so it doesn't show as void, just heat it up with a hairdryer for 10-15 secs and it makes the glue all ikky, just have to peel it off then you can stick it back like it was never removed.

u cant run a fan test on a 60 gb console as far as im aware
