Did you ever think some low life found some copies of Mass effect 2 in store and placed them at no1 and took a quick picture. Anyway its a display case they normally have the game wraped up in the plastic case witout the sticker

How do you explain that they haven't put them there on both Syndicate and Fifa then? I know there is a old price in the top right hand corner above the number 2 so they should have just put it over or next to that one, even if they didn't do it on purpose they surely would realise what it looks like beforehand.

I think what's more concerning is that they're advertising Far Cry 3.

They think they'll still be around in September?

People are slagging off game for this, but hasnt anyone taken into account that 1) ME2 may be their number 1 for people actually buying the previous versions to catch up? Its not a world-wide chart, its a store chart... and secondly, its a uniform precedure. Where i work, we put all the labels in the same place, as someone said, its to make the display look neater. You cant go putting stickers on 1 game lower down, then the others dotted around the title / age rating / company logo, it would look like a dogs-dinner. I agree, it does look like they are trying to cash-in on the customers who wouldnt know as much about whats going on with regards to ME3, but come off it, every game in Coventry has the same precedure - standard price topright, sale price on a circular sticker just below it... i assume this would be company standard really

My gut reaction was to shout bast****, but Fski could be right and it is in the 'used' game chart. Not sure! :-)

I Traded in my Copy of Mass Effect 2 over the weekend... get this they gave me £15 trade-in price the selling price is £19.99,  they know people are not going to pay £19.99 for a 2 year old title.  Now in December of last year they only offered me £3 which mnost supermarkets are offering, of course i jumped at that £15 trade-in price.

whats more interesting,  During the fire sale i spent £55-60 on games, i got £95 trade-in value back, so got myself a PS3 slim 320gb.

I think there is a ploy with the administration here,  now the stores are up for sale and/or may close relatively soon. maybe the price of the stock thats left reduces the debt of the company.  i'm not entirely sure this is the case, although thats seems to be the most logical answer for the crazy trade-ins.

Well if people are stupid enough to hand cash over for a product they don't fully know what it is then that's their stupid fault.

Just like a lad I know buying an empty TV case with bricks in it off some travellers the other day Its up to you to check it is correct and what you want in the first place. No excuse.
