I live in southern western australia and was wondering if anybody else out there is having trouble with online gaming with Modern warfare 3. I can play for 1 or 2 hours and the game signal is 3 or 4 green bars and everything is great. But then it will start, little lags here and there then you notice you have to unload a full gun magazine to kill anyone. It gets worse and worse then you check the game signal and you've only got one red dot. This happens day after day and I'm just sick and tired of dealing with this crap every day. I have had the internet check from the outlets right back to the phone exchange. Is anyone else having any thing similar happen to them. hope to hear from you guys:

You using Failstra Bugpond? Sounds like what I used to get (also in regional WA) - Another thing used to be a random 'pause' in transmission - sometimes watching video like Youtube, it would pause briefly. I thought it was me until I noticed it a couple of times at other peoples houses. Also have seen it on the news on telly when they are showing a video feed or interview with WA ... followed by an apology for the quality of the video.

As far as I can work out, there is something wrong with the hardware and Failstra are screwing us by not fixing it.

Edit: Also I have had pings go as high 1300 msec (Yep you read it right - 1.3 second ping on Failsrta ADSL 2+ )

something i find that will help is to turn off al P2P date (torrents)

not much you can do if it is Failstra's gear that's the problem. I always restart my modem b4 playing online and delete as much crap of your hard drive as possible.

Now the problem here ya see, is you're in the middle of whoopwhoop...haha

Chances are its the failing of the ISP.
