Which ones would you purchase

None at the moment as I have a stack of unplayed titles still to get through!

If it was game vouchers or something (so I could only use it for games) PS3 I'd get Skyrim, bioshock 1 and 2, pre-order assassins creed 3.

I might consider putting it towards a 3ds or vita instead though.

At the moment I wouldnt buy anything. There is nothing out just now that interests me. And the next new release that does is Borderlands 2.

If I defo had to spend it then I would also put it toward a 3DS.

Get a new console (3DS, X360 or something)

Not really any games out or really comin out for the next month or so for me :/ there's quite a lot toward the end of the year though so I would possibly pre order and fully pay for some of those on advance.

If I was making recommendations to someone who had just bought a ps3, assassins creed 2, mass effect 2, uncharted 2, portal 2, Arkham Asylum and city.
If there is any money left then sequels to any of those.
