Introducing a newcomer to the PS3....

I want to get my partner involved in PS3ing....but most games are too advanced for her to get started and get used to things like the analog. Sounds way too simple I know, but are their any games that are relatively easy to get her started? Also, does anyone know of any good platform games?

Thanks

Throw her in at the deep end, Wipeout HD.

Seriously though, I can't think of anything better than what James and Mattrapid suggested. Both fun games that can be played relatively easily. Flower is a superb game too, it only requires one button press and the rest you control via sixaxis.

To be honest it depends on what she's into, for example my gf loved flower, LBP etc but actually prefers bioshock, oblivion, dragons age and beatles rockband, so best bet is to pop into HMV and have a browse (her fave is Ratchet & clank)

Hi, when I want to get my friends involved I start them with the PixelJunk stuff.

Also - my boyf and I will often play two player fun stuff through together - like the lego games, and we really enjoyed playing Borderlands through together and found it very easy!

I think advising purchases from the PSN isnt such a good idea, because then if they dont like it they cannot return it
