I cant say Sonic interests me much now, what with all the killing Sega has tried doing to the little blue hedgehog over the years.

But if they release all these on a disc then they might be worthy, as individually they are bloody expensive! And how can a simple 2D platformer have poor controls

Gamecentrals review:

In Short: It gets most of the mechanics right, and it certainly looks like Sonic, but this new episode doesn't have the heart or the imagination of the originals.

Pros: The controls are a clear improvement over Episode I and there are some occasionally impressive set pieces. Episode Metal is a great bonus.

Cons: Bland level design and overfamiliar themes that are all far less interesting than the real Sonic 2. Weak bosses and terrible music. Tails is as annoying as ever.

Score: 6/10

I just brought the game just now. Since I am a huge Sonic fan and not bothered about the reviews. Plus the bonus to played as Metal Sonic which I own episode I.

I will eventually, I'd prefer it if Sonic 3 & Knuckles were in the store though!

I really couldn't care less about Sonic nowadays. Was good in its day but for me, it's time to let it go.

I always loved Sonic and I'll get it.. Sonic games have been awesome again lately.

However, I'm a bit worried about Episode 2's reviews, they are not that good.

And it seems that the music is weak? The music has always been one of the best things from Sonic games!

I like sonic but i'm going to wait for the inevitable 'complete collection' of it, not a big fan of episodic games. Like tell tale, i buy them all eventually i just wait til the whole thing is out.
