Is it safe to use your PS3?

havent played my ps3 in about a month, but i read in the evening standard that something happened to ps3's and they didnt work or broke or something.

is it safe to use them now?

i know this was a massive thing and there are probably 1000's of threads on it but it will take me half an hour to sort through them and get a straight answer.

what happened?

how did it affect people?

and is it safe to use the ps3?

Re: Is it safe to use your PS3?

Yes it's safe to use your ps3.

On 1st march it reset the internal clock of some models which meant some ppl couldn't access psn, play certain games and in some cases corrupted save data I believe but it was blown way out of proportion by media as usual with some less reliable paper having it as headline news or comparing it to the problems with Toyota!

It lasted 24 hours as said which was no big deal
