i loved GOW3, great looking game, it is just hack and slash but its one of my favourite ps3 games i would recommend it.

They are excellent games mate, I highly recommend picking up the GoW HD Collection and GoW 3 and playing through them all.

You can also pick up the GoW HD Collection Volume 2 which has the PSP games remastered for PS3.

Agreed. Very good games. But best if you play from the 1st one to get into the story.

Yeah start with the HD collection Volume 1 and play them in order, there's more then just hack 'n' slash in there

I can't remember where the mobile phone game sits in there.

There's a God of War III demo you can download from the Store, I recommend trying that out to decide if you like it or not! Personally I played 3 first and then bought the remastered versions of 1 & 2 afterwards, don't think you're missing out by playing 3 first, just have a quick skim of the baisc story online!

I think they are great for Hack n Slack games, not the kind of games I could play over and over though.

On finishing each one they left me with a that was Epic kind of feeling.

I also like the game play for Heavenly Sword, the fighting mechanic was interesting and thats so cheap now it's alsoi worth a look if you have not played it.
