With the recent addition of like 6 games for free download, I HAD to buy PS Plus. Unfortunately on my PS3 dl speeds are so slowwww, however I do better on PC.

So I was just wondering if there was a way I could download these items on PC, and then transfer onto my ps3?

Not that I know of. I think you will just have to endure slow speeds unfortunately

That method would of course be a very bad idea, it's open to so much rip-off-ness that it would no doubt cost sony huge amounts of money, thus costing YOU the gamers in the long run.

Just as with the other OS option being removed due to hackers, the same thing would end up happening if this was ever put in place.

Set them as background downloads and let the daily (*) PS+ run download them. They'll also download while you play other games if they don't go online.

* It'll run daily if you have the set time automatically from the internet option selected, otherwise, it's every other day.

my ps + daily only dls updates etc, never games.

How'd you make it differently?

Set the downloads to be in the background. So you start them but leave them queued up.

The PS+ update will carry on with the downloads after it's done the trophy sync, patches and online storage update.

It'll run for around two hours from when it starts. The start time is random within the two hour window that you chose.

Will queuing them up slow down my download speed? And will playing games in the foreground also slow download speeds?

queueing them wont slow them down, they download one at a time anyway, playing games will, even pause the download completely with some games from my experience.

Are you using wireless on your ps3? I find a significant increase in speed when i use wired, though a lot of people claim it makes no difference, i can only give advice from my experence.

They pause if the game runs online. Running at off peak times is usually faster (e.g. early morning).
