Quick question.
If you use a standard USB keyboard for the PS3's browser do the zoom features (L1, R1 & R3) work from it?
All the info I've found says they don't and you still need to use a controller alongside the keyboard for this, but the info all seems to be from 5 year old threads and there's been a load of Firmware updates since then. Wondering if the situations changed?
Thought I'd check to see if I could save some money buying a normal keyboard before forking over the cash for this.

i dont have the official ps3 keyboard but i do have a wireless microsoft keyboard and mouse which works great on the ps3 although i have never used them for the web browser, i have just tried it myself and it dose not seem to work for the zoom but by pressing F1 it opened the menu which give me quick access to the zoom option.
But looking at a zoomed image of the Playstation wireless keyboard the F1 through to F12 buttons have the Blue function keys on much like a laptop does where you need to press a buttom combo to use the buttons next to the Ctrl button on the ps3 keyboard is the FN button press and hold this button and pressing one of the function keys will activate the buttons and by the looks of it F7, F8 and F10 are your L1, R1 & R3 buttons. so im going to say using a OFFICAL PS3 Keyboard will work fine a 3rd party will have compatability problems and wont work

Thanks Paradox, good to know.
Looks like its gonna be the expensive option then. ...Oh well, nice looking bit of kit, should be worth it.
