No one wants something for nothing, I for one never looked for compensation however if you are then stating that a welcome back back is offered at least make it something that also applies to your core users who more than likely already have these games that are years old. If you cannot offer that then offer an alternative as Danlisa stated.

I disagree, Sony / Playstation have lost my personal details, and possibly my credit card info too. This is the least they can do in way of compensation.

Have to agree, having owned a PS3 for years,Ive got all of the titles on offer, wasnt really expecting too much but cant help feeling a little disapointed.
For people who havent owned a console for long this is great tho.

All I hear is people whining that they already have "this game and that game", maybe so, but there will be a load of people who haven't. I've had a PS3 since day 1, but I don't expect Sony to kiss my feet. Sony were victims of a nasty bunch of hackers, the first time it's happened since it was released in 2006, 3 weeks of downtime is nothing.
I think te fact they rebuilt it from scratch, moved servers, and got us back on within the month was quick work. Remember PSN is free to, and PS+ members will have an extra month added. What else do you want them to do?

Sadly big company's really only worry about one thing. Taking your money, and being loyal doesnt mean anything to any of them, don't believe the PR crap.

Dont dissagree with any of that.
I personally dont think we were actually due anything as form of compensation, but if they are going to offer some form of 'welcome back' pack then surely its not rocket science to see that most of the people who have owned a PS3 for a few years will have the games on offer?
Not going to lose any sleep over it, just as I said I cant help feeling a little disapointed.
