I'll try and e-mail Sony UK when I have a chance. I've given up on this ever being fixed to be honest.

E-mailed Sony UK, US and Asia

Copy of e-mail,

Hello,

I'd like to make a complaint about a bug/issue which has been affecting the PS3 since firmware update 3.40 (so since July). It affects users with multiple PS3s.

Trophies do not synchronise properly between PS3s.

Say I play game X on 2 PS3s.
I earn trophy A on PS3 one.
I sync PS3 one.
I log on to PS3 two and sync my trophy list.
Trophy A does not appear on my list.

If I compare trophies with a friend, my trophy does appear, so my syncing on PS3 one does work, and the trophies are on your network, but for some reason will not update on other PS3s.

The only exception I can find to this is if you earn trophy A on game X on ps3 one and then stick game X into PS3 two for the FIRST TIME. In this scenario, the trophy list FOR THAT GAME does sync, but will never sync properly again. It also doesn't sync other trophy lists.

I find it unacceptable that customers that purchase multiple PS3s cannot enjoy trophies because of this fault. What's more, it still has not been fixed for a quarter of a year.

Here is a link if you'd like to read up on other users who have the same issue.

Please fix this issue. I was planning on getting a third PS3 to use whilst overseas but have been put off copletely by this issue. It is losing you money.

Regards,

Re: MASSIVE PROBLEM WITH TROPHIES AFTER 3.40 for who has more than one system ( slim - phat )

I didn't get a positive responce from any of them. One came back saying that trophies have NEVER been able to sync between 2 PS3s, one told me to call them to simply troubleshoot the problem as it was an isolated issue and the third never even responded.

I honestly give up.

Re: MASSIVE PROBLEM WITH TROPHIES AFTER 3.40 for who has more than one system ( slim - phat )

I got another reply from Sony saying that they have brought the issue up with their technicians or whatever, so hopefully it does eventually get fixed.

Not hoping for much though.
