1st: Imo you would have got a better response to a short to the point message, rather than a wall of text. People on the interwebs dont like to read a huge amount of text, so keep things short and straight to the point. Or if you must write a wall of text, seperate it into smaller paragraphs.

2nd: The MODs on here have very little control over the things you are having problems with. Since we a lumped in with SCEE, we run of the same servers as English, French, Russian, German and many more PS communities. And we are the smallest community out of all of them. So our layout is dependent on what the other communities want.

3rd: I have experienced what you have when posting, but my computer at the time has been rendering a video or something I've been working on in photoshop (I work on high resolution photos for my job) and as soon as thats finished the forums seem to go back to normal. So my question is, what other programs are you running when you are looking at the forums? and also, what browser are you using? and any addons to that browser? You may have mentioned it already but I didnt read your wall of text.

Edit: I notced you asked people to stop changing the thread title, but then you did it yourself, be careful or you will get everyone coming down on you for double standards, why is it ok for you to do but not others. So I have changed it back to what you originally had.

Until recently, when this forum was looking extremely stuffed in FF4 for me, the only issue I've had is in Chrome. I get the Authentication Failed page quite a bit when I click on threads.

Never any dramas with lag though.

If you want to count costs..

My sisters computer has a $9k computer for rendering solid works projects, it would dwarf your PC in comparison.

But lets not get into that.

Its funny how 4 of my own pc's, my gf's pc and neighbours pc have all experienced lag on this site - considering that the pc's used cost over 3k each except the laptop and that being basic considering most people who replied have the basic pc or laptop compared to the systems that myself and others use and try to subject it onto these pc configurations that just storms their own equipement to say the least. The only reality to this is the programing code within the scripts on this page that brings lag into the equation - by having a more robust system of script similar to whirlpool script utilized in their forums it wont matter what web browser a person is on as it will be speedy all the time with everyone.

First off, I find it pitiful that your boastful 3k PC is actually struggling to render a webpage, yet someone's 'stormed' PC can actually render and type in the forum without any latency, maybe a $200 dollar dual core might do the job and fix the lag for you.

If that doesnt work, then your connection speed may also affect the forums, since most of it is javascript and client side scripts, all of it needs to be downloaded, so if you have a slow connection, you wont be able to type anything until it finishes loading onto your browser.

Also I think you need to consider that there might be something on all your PC's, running all sorts of malware and viri on them, just run a virus scan and check it out. Better to be safe than sorry.

Have you even considered running the forums on another browser instead of IE?

Safari, Chrome, Opera...

These are all real webkit/HTML5 browsers, light weight and efficient.

You can blame us all for being ignorant, but you need to eat your own words because there have been a few suggestions thrown around, yet no replies about whether you have tried them.

my pc's are either dual or quad core based pc's consisting of amd and intel

next of the windows 7 score - well i get a massive 7 on them

next of the language script in this forum likes mozilla or other ie browsers compared to ie8 or ie9

all except my gf;s laptop has over 1gb dedicated vid memory running dual vid cards of either ati or radeon

on myspace forums have appeared worse than the psn forums on the lag issue

having mods and adaptive to a whole new structure of professionalism that opens doors to social networking and identifying this as customner based responses is a step in the right direction rather than leaving the way it is to gain new marketing outakes and abilities to generate customer feedbacks and creating new customers - esp linking with facebook and so on - being totally immersive to all products of sony alongside it and making sony stand up from the rest of the companies out there is a real bonus and inniuative towards positive growth

Change your browser and see how it goes stop acting like a spoilt child. Have you never heard of troubleshooting. People are offering you advice on TROUBLESHOOTING and you just ignore their help. From what i can see, this thread is going no where due to your arrogance and ignorance of support.
On top of all this you have the worst grammar i have ever seen, this coupled with walls of text make me want to grab my computer and chuck it at a brick wall from rage.
