Played it a while back and couldn't turn it off quick enough, coming from a motocross/pit bike rider myself its an awful game.

I totally agree ytevo79. 

I've been riding scramblers and moto x bikes for 40 years, and couldn't wait to play the demo. After completing the race, i deleted it straight away. Moto Racer was a far better game than Mud.

In my time of gaming I can only remember playing on decent (as in realistic and feels good to play) motocross game which was on the PS2, I cant remember what it was, as there has been so many games. But why is it so damn hard to make a decent game?

All these MX Vs games are pretty terrible with the way the bikes move and handle. Its a shame.

Then MUD comes along and makes a right hash of it (which was half expected anyway)

I know I can go out and ride mine at any time, but that still doesn't mean I don't want to play an enjoyable experience on a console.

 Mud and alot of the other MX Vs games handled like riding through treacle.

 Moto Racer was arcade but great all the same. I seem to remember a PS2 game that was pretty good too, i think it was Mcgrath or something along those lines. 

[Edit] After looking on you tube i think it was Ricky Carmichael: Championship Motocross.
