Does anyone know if minecraft will be released for ps3? It would be great if it is

It's not going to be released on PS3. Seems like Microsoft threw a bit of cash Minecraft's way. I wonder how much they paid to get the console exlusive rights.

Don't know but reports sugest that it was making a profit with in the hour.

Just depends on the deal ms done.. ie how long they paid for exclusive, as a lot of previous ms exclusives are now available on ps3,... But i would guess with minecraft being the 'goldmine' it is we will most probably need to wait for a good couple of years, shame i guess, but i 'believe' it plays much better on pc anyway..

I'm all for creating a new thread rather than bumping an old one but this is probably about 3 or 4 pages back at most?

I think microsoft payed loads to be the exclusive console for it.

I very much doubt we will see it on PS3.

Not too fussed myself to be honest, I have never had an interest in the game.

I really didnt think there were that many PS3 owners interested in this I just dont get it - looks crap to me and always has done
