Hey all...

Is there anything I need to do that will help my PS3 run smoother in NZ?

I purchased in Australia but have now moved to NZ.

I still have ABC iView and 7 TV icons on the XMB.... I'd like to get the TVNZ on demand one on there instead... But how???

I also can't seem to access PlayTV - either that or my aerial is stuffed. I tried tuning it from two different aerial connections and both failed - any other ideas???

I'm assuming you will need an NZ PSN account.... although the Aus and NZ stores are (almost) identical, they are slightly different, and hence I guess the attached services are slightly different.. When I go online with my US account I see slight changes in my XMB options.

As for PlayTV.. sorry, can't help you there..

Correct, you should need an NZ PSN account to access NZ video content etc.

With regards to PlayTV -> you may need to go through Settings -> Change Location.

i think new zealand has different power to aussies so you need to feed it L&P and call it bru.

It's pretty lame that you can't just change your location after you move and have to make a whole new account instead.

Strike up another win for the Xbox in this category then since you can change your location if you move to another country without having to make a new account.

You are fully entitled to use your old account. You'd just need a new account to purchase content from the region to which you have moved.

I used my Australian account to purchase stuff (cheaper) from PSN when in NZ - so I don't think that's the issue.

You're using your Australian PSN account, that's why you get access to the AU PS Store.

The query was related to wanting to access a different country's / region's store from thte country they now reside in.
