Hey all, don't know how many people of seen this, but the London Symphony Orchestra are taking votes for which game's theme song they should feature on their next 'video game music' album. I have personally voted for Sonic the Hedgehog, maybe you should too!

Got me thinking I should start a thread on this, which may/may not/probably has been done. What's your favourite theme tune from a game? FFVIII is a personal favourite & thankfully it's on the first LSO album

I really liked the GTA IV theme tune, though with the video mainly, as it just worked really well, gave it a movie-vibe to it.

Based purely just on the music, Mirror's Edge - Still Alive by Lisa Miskovski (spelling?) is one of my favs

I think it's slightly criminal that there isn't one retro game on that list featuring music from either Rob Hubbard or David Whittaker ?

Even the mighty 'Magical Sound Shower' from Outrun has missed the list of nominees.

I'd possibly have to choose God of War III based almost purely on the main theme to the game...However, I'm also very tempted to go for Mass Effect 3 or Skyrim...both have beautiful soundtracks.

Mass Effect 3 was pretty good alright, though I'm not sure any of the music topped the Suicide Mission Theme from ME2!

Also, just a slight correction, it's an album by the Philharmonic Orchestra, not the Symphony Orchestra!

Driver San Francisco' main theme, not my favourite game, but the theme stood out enough for me to remember.
