Music

I have a few GB of MP3s.  What is the best way to get them on my PS3?

Also, what video file types will a PS3 play and how do you get them on the PS3?

Re: Music

The best method of transferring music from your pc / laptop is via a memory stick. You cant really go wrong with it.

Im not sure as to what videos yours ps3 can play to be honest, i pretty much just use my ps3 for gaming.

Look in the Media section of this forum, im pretty sure you will find your answers in there.....

Re: Music

I think it plays MP4/AVI/Divx, and use a USB stick as the above poster said.

Re: Music

I've seen some of the media connect options.  But I have most of my videos in MKV format.  I dunno if I can stream them in high-def.

I'd like to use an external hard drive.  Wife and I can watch TV in the media room and then transfer a show or two to a HD and take that to the bedroom where the PS3 is.
