My system does not support my router security

When ever i put a password on my router my ps says "Not Supported" under security iv'e tried WEP and WPA and i can see other router with the same security type and my ps supports them

What is the make and model of your router? As some routers are set up so you need to add the device to an accepted list first (MAC filter).

 

Do you have anything else using the Wi-Fi?

What encryption are you using on your router? AES or TKIP?

 

Also, as asked previous, what is the make and model of the router and does it have the latest firmware version.
