I was reading this post on IGN what feature would you like to see.

for me:

Backward compatibility (PS3 Only)

Cross-Game Chat

Cloud Saving (free)

I want one thing and one thing only

For release models to be working perfectly and a 5 year warranty with them

Backwards compat would be good but couldnt care less about Cross game chat or cloud saving

I doubt cloud saving would be free as Sony want to make PS+ more atractive to the people who sub.

Also TBH it would not suprise me if Sony started to charge for PSN with the PS4

All i want is a stable platform, pretty much everytime i run a new game for updates it lags then freezes. I want the XMB to run smooth. It takes so long for it to load in-game. Im not fussed about Cross Game Chat, Trophies, Cloud Saving - i just want it to run smoothly. Alos give us the option to hide menu's / Apps.

• International PSN Store, no more differences between the various regions. If a game is released on US PSN, it's released here too. Valve can do this with Steam, Sony should be able to do it too.

I want Sony to do away with the "extra" stuff, music players, video players, blu-ray viewing etc and concentrate on being a games console that is brilliant at doing 1 thing, not above average at doing many.
