I got a 250gb from game on tue, (put my ol 60gb out to pasture in the spare room snif snif)
Anyway from my local game I got 250gb slim, unchrated 2 and Bayonetta for £299.99 I think.
Got both those games already, so I got them to sell on. Only put them on ebay last night and already sold uncharted 2 for £32.00 reckon I should get at least £25.00 for bayonetta.
If you did something similar there are a lot of good games you can get for £50.00 in the PS3's back catalog eg Burnout, Deadspace, Metal gear solid 4, Uncharted 1, bioshock, oblivion, fallout 3, killzone 2 to name a few.
These are going for around 10-15 each (some even cheaper) so you could kick start your collection with a few gems ![]()

I personally prefer Gamestations waranty, you just take your broken consoile into store and they give you a new one. With game you gotta send it away..
That said depends on what you want it for, if your going to be upgrading the HDD to 500gb then get the 120, there is no other diference between the 120 and 250 ps3 slims other than the hdd, they all come of the same production line and jsut get dif HDDs put in.
If your gunna upgrade the HDD get a 120 if no plans to get a 250, games wise well I tend to ignore that cuz if there are games i want I own them.. So i tend to look at the bundles with the games and check on what the best trade in prices are for the games with the bundles so i get best return for my cash.. (sometimes if you pick the right bundle you can really get some good deals when you trade the games in as you buy )
In your case get teh 250 it works out cheaper than the 120..
Hope that makes sense..
120mb deal is £269.99
Assasins creed 2 trade in for 25
120gb for £245
250mb deal is £284.99
Uncharted 2 Trade in for 25ish
Ratchet and clank (if its new R&C) trade in for anotehr 25
So you pay £234 for the 250gb...
Thats how i do it anyhow.

I thought the warranty was exactly the same, seeing how both game and gamestation are the same company... I went with game due to the reward card situation.

Well Game use a 3rd party company for their waranties so you have to send away to them.
Gamestation (well the ydid last year) have in house waranty, i took my XBOX elite in 3 times last year and walked out with a brand new one as part of their waranty, no refurbs just a new bit of kit. That said with XBOX its easier you can just swap the HDDs with PS3 you lose everything you havent backed up..

yea theres differences between GB and Gb too
yes there is GigaByte - GB is the amount of space and Gigabit - Gb is a term for measuring the speed of say a broadband connection.
