you can get a new slim ps3 for £150 odd probably. If when the wii U comes out you want that you could always trade in ps3 and games towards it if you were a bit tight on money.

If you can wait as long as the Wii U launch, then wait until after E3 in June. I will not be surprised that Sony to announce a price cut for the PS3. There's also a chance they may show a smaller PS3.

I would stick with the PS3 in my opinion,most supermarkets are doing the 160gb version for £150 at the moment which is a bargain in my humble opinion.

How can you be in the market for a new console when one of them isn't even out yet, nor has a confirmed release date?

That means waiting months, maybe years for it to come out and is pretty pointless..

But in answer to the question ''New Ps3 or the Wii U?'' then simply put: What exclusive games appeal to you more..?

Most xbox games used to have a slight advantage but now it leans more toward the Ps3.
