Now the lack of attention to the PS3 browser is becoming really serious - no BOOKWORM?

OFFCIAL PROTEST THREAD!!!!!

SWTSMBOAAT is very unhappy!

Now we can't even play bloody BOOKWORM via the PS3 browser!

Why? Because of this:-

Adobe Flash PlayerYour device currently has the latest version of Adobe® Flash® Player that is available for your browser.Copyright © 2011 Adobe Systems Incorporated. All rights reserved.

Someone tell me please, is there any light at the end of the tunnel or is it just the sad truth that because every damn site is constantly updating to the latest version of flash & Sony developers seem not to want to doing anything about updating same on the PS3 browser (or CAN'T - I read someone's answer on one of these forums somewhere, that there isn't any more ROOM to change anything on the browser), we the CUSTOMER, you know the poor sods who paid through the nose for the damn console & all the overpriced accessories, will now gradually be able to access less and less through this daft 'token' browser?

SOME OF US CANNOT AFFORD A PC/LAPTOP - WE BLEW ALL OUR MONEY ON THE PS3!

Adobe will now only do updates for a PC or laptop, so blame them.

Not affording a PC is not an excuse that works any more.

My PC cost £0.00 and worked fine on web sites. ( Yes it was a scrap yard HP G7000 version. )

Get off your asbo buttocks and check out the local scrap yard/recycle centre. Companies chuck out laptop PCs just because there OLD only, not because their broken.

You don't even have to pay for windows OS,

Linux OS Is FREE...

Free laptop PC specs

Built in webcam

1GB memory

120GB HDD. ( have now Updated that to 320GB )

1.8Ghz CPU.

128MB video memory.

Running linux 3.2.25 ubuntu

Working battery only 1 hour battery life ( Now updated and now gives 6 hours. )

You dont need money to get a PC. Just need to get of your buttocks.

From what I understand, the browser used on the PS3 is some sort of variant of the MOBILE Netfront browser and since there's almost as many mobiles on the planet as there are atoms - do you happen to know why they're just doing upgrades for PC & laptops.
I must admit, I think I've heard what you're saying before.I've said IT before, I'll say it again here - the lack of BACKWARDS COMPATIBILITY is going to be the cause of the spiral bumpy road to Technological Singularity!
It's not really so much a case of IF, but HOW & WHEN!
Check out this link - and the ones it leads to - it opened my eyes -
I'm sure if you wern't already aware, it'll open yours too!

You seem have some difficulty recognising sarcasm, you're not American are you?

The PS3 is primarily a games console, not a PC. Are you telling me you don't have a mobile phone, a tablet, a laptop or a PC which has a far more serviceable web browser?

If your PS3 really is the only device you have which can access the internet then may I suggest you save up at least £50 to go out and buy a cheap and cherful mobile phone which will have a browser with far better flash support

The PS3's browser was something Sony tagged on to allow BASIC web browsing. It was never meant to be some fully functioning, bells & whistles internet experience so why are you treating it as such?
