Just because you don't like what they say it doesn't give you the right to say they shouldn't answer your threads

Threads on a forum are for discussion and for both sides of the fence to have their say so. If you don't want to see or read posts from those whose opinions differ from yours then you really shouldn't be making threads on a forum in the first place

You can't make a controversial thread and then not like it if people respond to you in a manner you think is harsh or nasty. If you're going to make bold or brash statements you can expect brash replies

By the way, I'm very concerned by the picture you use under your ID. From a distance, it looks like you're a happy-go-lucky smiling sort of chap. A photo that would portray someone you might want to get to know - I know getting to know people is very important to you.

However, if you zoom in on the photograph - well, er, I don't know how to break this to you gently & with tact as LordRoss has forbidden me afterall from using a certain slang word on pain of permanent banning, but well, if that's you in the photo - it makes you look, I'm reliably informed the latest politically-correct term to use, like someone with 'learning difficulties' or someone with 'special needs'.

It seems to me the old banned R.... S.... and M..... (this last one used by Ricky Gervais' in his hilarious one man 'Science' standup show describing Susan Boyle) single word slang definitions were so much more efficient from a 'less is more' perspective!

This is probably the daftest post you have made here and that's going far.

My avatar isn't a picture of myself, it's from a very famous movie which happens to be one of my favorite films of all time. 

I almost feel bad for you sat there on your couch trying to hurt my feelings while using your PS3 controler to type crap.

I have a decent browser, around 80 or more PS3 games on disc plus downloads, I can quote and use this forum how it's meant to be, play flash games and I'm happy to be uglier than my avatar.

Alright NOW I get it.....I understand. 

One of the things that made me decide on a PS3 over an Xbox was the browser and I always wondered why so many people seemed to take against the browser fans...and now I get it. Even my heads been done in by all these whining threads and rambling rants, constantly complaining. Can I suggest you aim your tantrums where they belong, (towards Adobe). They're the ones that stopped supporting updates to Flash, Sony didn't have a lot of choice.

So just in case you still dont get it, Flash will never, ever, NEVER be updated in the PS3 browser. Not happening. Never. Ever. Flying pigs. Snowball fights in hell,...Flying pigs HAVING a snowball fight in hell....NEVER.

And FYI, loads of Flash games do still work in the PS3 browser, I've never been their biggest fan but the few that I used to play all work fine for me. 

The browser is far more capable than people give it credit for, on some websites its my preffered browser, far quicker and better than my PC's IE8 or Chrome,and its far more comfortable sitting on a couch than in my pokey wee office where my PC is. Just enjoy what it does rather than whining about what it doesnt.

However, your caustic reply aside for a moment - there were a number of points you raised that I wanted to come back to you on that were very interesting to me.

You mentioned "Companies chuck out laptop PCs just because there OLD only, not because their broken." & "check out the local scrap yard/recycle centre."

This was very interesting to me, since SWTSMBOAAT & I have realised fairly recently that the shop Cash Converters is a very good source for secondhand Sky Boxes - they sell them on a regular basis like hot cakes! Since, lazily imo, Sky doesn't give customers upgrading to Sky+ HD anything in the way of a part exchange or financial incentive for their old Sky boxes - so they end up advertised for sale elsewhere or in CashConverters who WILL give you a token amount for them depending on their age &

When both our bog standard Sky boxes went on the blink (at different times) we phoned Sky who wanted to charge £65 just to come down & basically swap ONE defunct box for a reconditioned working one - we soon realised that Cash Converters selling us one at £11.99 for a bog-standard Sky box & then £13.99 for a Sky+ one was a much better deal. 

I only mention all this, because I understand where you're coming from on the Recycle Centre recommendation.

However, unlike with Cash Converters & that second-hand route, I've actually been less successful with the local scrapyard/recycling centres, as everytime I've tried to get electrical gear that's been dumped there, there seem to be strict rules enforced by the people running not just one but several sites I've visited, that because the equipment has been at the site & exposed to rain & could potentially short-circuit when plugged in - they are forbidden to pass them onto the public due to 'Health & Safety' laws.

I will be replacing my internal harddrive and i want to know how to transfer the dc universe online that i downloaded to my external drive. I don't want to redownload it because it took me 2 days before I fully download the game........

I suggest you repost what your asking on the tech-help forum or send a private message to the person I'm currently doing my long post to at the moment i.e. GraphiteGB - he seems to have a good all round technical knowlege, albeit a bit caustic with his answers - mind you a lot of computer people are like that - they see the rest of us as 'little people' which unfortunately, I suppose from their perspective we are - Sheldon Coopers everyone of them!
