Oblivion Races vs. Skyrim Races

Hey guys,

I have a quick question about the Skyrim races...for those of you who played Oblivion you might remember all the birthsigns and other things besides skillset when creating your character (ex. Strength, endurence, willpower, depending on race). Do this exist in Skyrim, or do all races have the same strenth, endurence, etc, with the only difference being original skillset?

Thanks!

Re: Oblivion Races vs. Skyrim Races

Choosing different races does effect your starting stats like strength, inteligance, stamina etc. however the game doesnt explain to you the differences.  All it says is that for example the High Elfs are better are magic and therefore have higher inteligance.

To tell the truth though it doesnt really make that much difference in the long run, the main difference is that each race gets a perk that is exclusive to that race.  I chose the Nords and they get an ability that calms any enemy close for 60 seconds.

As for gender, it has no effect on your stats, so choose whichever you want to look at for the next 100 hours.
