It's actually been producing better visuals on multiplatform games than their console versions. They're running at high level PC detail, so high anti-aliasing (something many console games lack), post processing, texture filtering, etc, but runs at a console resolution.
There has been absolutely 0 lag, and it's worked perfectly. I'll still prefer to run it at a high resolution with the highest settings on PC, but if it's cheaper on OnLive (on sale, or something), i'd get it on that over the console version, probably.
Also, it supports different control methods, all the games support keyboard and mouse and the pad. But, I own a PS3 for it's exclusive games that will never hit OnLive. It completely defeats the entire purpose of Sony having their own game studios for exclusives. The onlive guys just said, a while ago, that they would try and get Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo on board, but that is all that was said, nothing more. We know it wouldn't happen whilst they're still producing their own consoles.

I think Onlive has surprised a lot of people and it seems a few Playstation and XBOX fans are getting so defensive and saying it's going to kill gaming.

I been using this for about 3 months now, only doing game trials and it works very good, am with VM and get 30mb down and 3mb up.
I would like to try this with the game box, because that can then output 1080p res, even when you using it on PC you till have to take into acount your system specs, its not all just about having good internet speed. At the moment my PC not that good, am saving up for a gaming PC costing me £1000 so I will try again with that beast.

Why people pay that for a PC is that their are a million things that a PC can do what a PS3 can't do.
A PC is a proper multi purpose tool unlike the half arsed attempt from the PS3/360.
A true gamer will own all and play all and TBH as much as I love console gaming PC gaming is king as their is so much you can do what you can pnly dream off on PS3/360.
I think you need to open yourt eyes and see PS3, Sony and PSN is not the be all and end all of gaming!
My Laptop gives out better graphics with onlive than I have seen on PS3 but TBH I do not care I play games for the enjoyment which is why I still play old games!
You still have not come back with a decent reply to the ones that quoted you on you original Post!
Sound to me you feel threatend by this! Well the more fool you are!

Gonna wait to see what the service is like in 3 months when the ISPs remove the service from the "Do not traffic shape" system. VM original agreed to not traffic shape BBC Iplayer only to Reverse that Buy adding AREA based Traffic management later to there T&C.
