Re: PS-Pros.co.uk

[ Edited ]

Tjboo,

Ps-Pros

i know this is an OUTDATED topic/post......

but i'm currently with ps-pros

i'm going to ps-pros today, can't be bothered with sending it, i'm mainly taking it in today because when ever i turn the ps3 on, it starts up like a hair dryer, and to my knowledge and experiancing of repairing the actual thermal sensor on the board has malfunctioned, and this isn't the first time that it has happened.

but i'll just have to see what happens today when they repair it.

i've never had a problem with ps-pros. they are legit 100% infact.

My ps3 60GB had a problem with the enet port and i got sent a refurbished one back from sony,

and when it arrived it didn't read discs, i found ps-pros via google, i took my playstation to them, i waited 30 mins to have it repaired, this was back when ps-pros was offering the choice of 2 years and 4 years warranty.  i chose 4 yrs warranty, intotal it cost me aroughly £135 to have ps3 fixed, it was £40 for the 4 years warranty.

i then got given a engineers letter signed, and i took it to the place i originally purchased the playstation,

and i got all my money back.

i'd recommend ps-pros to anyone, they are worth looking into.

the value of their repair is worth it.

their customer services is fantastic

and overal rating in my case 100/100.

i even had my friends xbox taken to them,

the laser died, and it has officially been 2 yrs since my friend had the laser replaced.

and the xbox is still working in perfect order.

P.S SONY...... i think you should bring back the warranty feature back,

you cancelled it because many of your customers violated the Terms of usuage policy.

why couldn't you have feature that engineers can check up on the console to see what modifications has been made to the console. if any that violate your terms, you should NOT repair or send a replacement of their console, nor should they recieve a discount of repair or a discounted Replacement console.

Re: PS-Pros.co.uk

Sorry for returning to an old post. I do hope someone reads it.
I sent my PS3 off to PS Pros last week as it had YLOD. I did my research and they seemed to be the best - reasonably priced, extra fan, free pick up and delivery, and they had some really positive reviews.
I got in touch via email and they were very helpful in telling me everything I needed to know, what they do to repair it, what I need to do to package it. I would email one day and they would respond within about 15 hours. The delivery man arrived promptly on the requested date.
3 days ago I got an email requesting I pay for the repair via Paypal. I felt happier to pay via DD, and so tried to phone them. The phone was busy (and still is - has been every time I've tried since). If you go to their site, it says its "Temporary closed until further notice". I've emailed and had no reply, and I'm a little skeptical... I'd like reassurance that they really are legit? And that maybe they genuinely are just down at the moment (for whatever reason). I'm just a bit concerned that on the very same day they requested I pay for the job, I can't get in touch via any method - even just to find out how it all went and when to send it back :smileyfrustrated:
Has anyone else ever had any problems? I'd really appreciate hearing from you. Thanks :smileyhappy:

Re: PS-Pros.co.uk

Anyone know when ps-pros are opening again?

My PS3 has YLOD for a while, but just been waiting until my exams were over until I got it fixed.

What business has "problems" and closes down for a "bit"

After reading reviews on here they all seem to be written in the same manner ala an employee

I don't know about the reviews on here, but I'd been recommended ps-pros from a friend who has used them in the past.

Apart from them can anyone recommend somewhere in London?  I would prefer a phyiscal shop where I can drop it off rather than a courier delivery.

Really?  What business doesn't have problems?  If I don't get my PS3 back tomorrow, I will let you know.

Re: PS-Pros.co.uk

Ended up going with Console Doctor as PS Pros appears to still have problems.

Just got it back today and all appears good.

Good price and quick turnaround.

Very happy at the moment.  :smileyhappy:
