My July 07 60GB just died Tuesday, the 13th. Yellow light of death

Sony are sending me a free refurb on the 28th.

The people who have had replacements, did you get an extended warranty or are Sony sending the free replacements out of goodwill? I didnt get an extended warranty and am a little concerned incase my PS3 dies!

What is the phone number to call if I do get a problem?

Don't you think that your PS3 might be breaking because you spend rediculous amounts of time on it?

E.G

18 Hour stints on MGS

50-60 Hours of gaming a week, Thats nearly 9 hours a day

Did you all get the same 'spec' machine back?  

I mean, my 60gb machine reads my SACDs and has hardware for running PS 2 games.  I understand that, if it goes wrong and I send it off for repair, I could get just about anyone's machine back, not mine.

Please tell me I'm wrong!!!

Great idea,  But just exactly does anyone make their threads 'a sticky' as you say?

 This site isn't the most 'intuitive' to use in my personal experience.  I'm sure I'm can't be alone in this opinion.
