I'm sure you all remember this beast. When I first saw this controller design I absolutely loved it, and you know what I still do.

I've been needing a new controller recently and it got me thinking; what happened to these? I know they existed cause I've seen images, so where are they now? Not just, in the bin, are they?

If anyone has any knowlege as to what happened to the Boomerang controllers, please let me know here. If anyone knows where I could actually pick one up (not the thrid party one, I know about that one) then that would be even better.

I think the percentage of people that would actually want that controller is to low and that might be why your not seeing many if any of them. I hope you manage to find something bud, also if you do maybe pop back here and let the folks know where and how much

Those controllers almost put me off buying a PS3 when I saw them advertised..... thankfully for me Sony went back to the classic design we have now...

They were ugly as hell, and looked totally impractical.

I think those are reasons enough for getting rid of them.

Being boomerang shaped, I'd be highly disappointed if it came back after chucking it out the window.

Glad they reverted back to the original look, why fix something that isn't broken?

They were meant to be more comfortable and stuff, but everyone started moaning about them

As said above, it really did put me off, thought they were/are horrible.
