PS3 Headset

I'm looking for a PS3 headset. I mainly play CoD/Battlefield, but I'm more interested in chatting to my friends than sound-whoring.

What would you recommend I get? There are so many products on Amazon, I'm thinking of just getting the Sony (PS3)Wireless Headset

Thanks

Re: PS3 Headset

Thanks. With, turtle beaches, the voice and game audio comes out the headset rather than the TV speakers right? Whereas the Sony headset only has the voice audio?

Re: PS3 Headset

No EU release date for these yet (NA in September), but perhaps you could wait a bit?

Re: PS3 Headset

Don't really fancy shelling out $100 on the Sony ones, or a similar amount for TB

Re: PS3 Headset

If you just want a headset to use the speech/coms funtion, I'd go with the PS3 headset.

It's good quality and easy to use/install.

Further to this if you do get an official headset remember to pair it via the supplied USB cable OP, that way you'll get charge/mute information on screen from one of those attractive and futuristic PS3 grey boxes we all know...and love.
