Ok so i was playing PS3 with my wireless stereo headset and all of a sudden my brother fell and tried to "Catch" himself with the USB dongle on my PS3. the USB is messed up and at first worked but with distorted unhearable sound, but no it doesnt even pick up the headset. Now i am DESPERATLEY in need of a new USB dongle. Can anyone link me to where they are selling them? Thanks , i really dont want to have wasted 100$ On a headset for it to get ruined by a probably worth 5$ or less broken USB dongle. ANY reply helps.

You might have to email (don't ring, that would cost a small fortune) SCEA, and see if they are willing to send you a new dongle. But since you are overseas don't get your hopes up. If not, try looking on eBay

Sony Don't Sell parts as every thing is sub contracted builds.

They might be able to give you the Makers contact details but as others have said dont count on it. 

The Doggle is not BT its RF doggle specificaly coded so that the PS3 can ident it and turn on the 5.1 to virtual 5.1 coding on PS3.

The same Happened to people who broke there Base charging point for the Sony Mono BT headset. No sale of replacement parts. 

Accidental Damage is NOT covered buy Sony warranty... Even if you were to live state side.

Anyone find anything else out? I'm in a similar situation and haven't found an answer, and just WON't pay another $100 for another headset.... I even tried ebay and the like....

u cant buy dongles on their own

take it back to where u bought it as it will still be under warranty

I may be looking into this too much but seeing as the dollar symbol is at the end of the numbers seems to denote AUS or NZ $

This is pathetic customer service.   I have the exact same issue - need a replacement USB dongle for the wireless heaset.  What sort of company doesn't sell replacement parts?   Nothing on Ebay.  I love how support told me to search EBAY!   I actually got a laugh out of a very upsetting situtation.
