Re: PS3 and X-factor!

We record it on the V+ and then watch it back later on, result is we can fast forward all the guff and duff.

(guff = the waffle from the judges and Daggy Stace, ya kna wa I mean like wa wa wa oh me gawd head wobble & smile, and the duff is most of the bad singing).

We normally cut the show to about 20 minutes with me fast forwarding.

Avoiding GAME/Gamestation.
Ripoff prices, poor value on trade ins and shoddy customer service.
Latest trade in comparison, Mario Kart Wii with Wheel:
GAME offered a measely £8
HMV offered a huge £25.

Re: PS3 and X-factor!

MB, sounds like your under the thumb, :smileyvery-happy:you got to stand your ground. You got to stand on you sofa a shout, "I'm the man of the house and this is my TV, so can I play my PS3, pretty please"

Other alternative is we could all donate a pound so you can get your own TV, but I'm so you can afford it without are help. :smileywink:

It's times like this that only a PSP can save you from.

Re: PS3 and X-factor!

I have the same problem. The gf is totally addicted and there's no way she'll be missing a show.

And the thing never ends, each time they throw out one person and there's like 8 left. Endlessly milking the crap...

Re: PS3 and X-factor!

Hmmm X-Factor is 'must see', but I think your good lady should come to a compromise. One week she can watch it live, the next week is your turn to hog the telly and she'll just have to watch it later as a recorded program.

Mind you, there's only a couple of weeks left of it anyway so she might use that as an excuse !

Maybe you should just evict her ?  :xLol:
