Hi,

I am heading over to Florida on holiday and was going to buy some ps3 games. What is the best shop to get them from?

I wouldn't bother unless the game can't be purchased here. You will have problems activating online passes and purchasing additional content with the regional variation.

It's true about the extra content & the online activation as it depends on your account eg UK account can only use UK or EU stuff.....

That said if you just wanted to buy a single player game that doesn't require ad-ons or DLCs then Game Stop is a great place as they are mainstream & you can find almost anywhere

Gamestop's OK on games, I found thier pre order bonuses where generally better than most. I've probably still got my loyalty card somewhere, hahaha

Don't forget to check out Wallmart, they have some great bargains and also Bestbuy.

I wouldnt worry about the online pass issue / DLC put you off.  I lived out there for 3 years and i still play several titles i bought out there without issue (although these where bought before online passes)

depends if you want to play online.

i was over in florida in april and i bought MLB 12 THE SHOW as over here i could only find it for £55 yet in florida i got it for $45 which converted is about a £20-£25 saving, and im not fussed about online so worth the savings

i heard bestbuy is pretty good, if you create an american psn account you can use it to download add ons and install them and play them on the other accounts, worked for me with rocksmith.

bought my game from GAMESTOP , anywhere there is a walmart or TARGET i found there was a GAMESTOP attached/near , i was only after one certain game so i didnt have a look around but i saved alot of £ buy buying it in $
