I turned off all auto save features.  No problem since and loads are faster now.  I was about to give up.  My game froze 10 times in a couple hours time.  I found a forum saying to turn off auto save, and now all is good.   No freeze for days.

Yeah, I had same problem on my PS3. You have to get your game data backed up ASAP, before the problem gets worse and then you have to do a full system restore, this will take about 18 hours and 30 mins. Also, follow the instructions to deactavate your PSN account. I did not act fast enough and ended up loseing all my saved data.

My first PS3 slim kept freezing up a year after buying it. I called Sony and they collected it and gave me a new one

yea my to,but i play a game and after 5 or 10 minutes it freezes and that is all the time ,some games it won't start at all,not to mention that my sony is 3 months old,and that is my third sony

Happened twice to us yesterday, once on Skyrim straight after killing two dragons ***** then on the Mass Effect 3 Demo. Its getting rediculous, all the patches and updates are messing with the hardware surely..

i turn my PS3 and it freezes straight away:\  i can't even log into my PSN account the screen just goes blank and i can't turn it off by the power button.

Can anyone help!?

if it won't turn of when u hit the power button u might have a problem with the power source call 1-800-345-sony

hey do you know when the patch will be out because i love skyrim and i want to have autosaves

also i did everything turned autosaves off but it still doesnt work i turned rest wait and travel off are there more? please reply

Patch, well they have brought out a few, didnt help, i gave up, new DLC out see advert on xbox think YES THAT LOOKS ACE only to see not on PSN

Having a google to see if i can find a luanch date but not sure it will be worth buying until i know the glitching has stopped
