i had the same problem with missing tv tab so I went into account management > system activation > video > activate and then it showed up

sometimes the TV Tab goes missing there is one post on this forum to show how to get it back just go to the PS Store download VidZone open VidZone and download the update which moves the VidZone from the Video Tab to TV tab and then its back :smileyhappy:
