PS3's MP3 Playback

Hello,

I noticed a highly peculiar thing today, there are MP3's which my PS3 won't playback, but for some reason, my PSP has no trouble playing back.
Anyone any idea why the PS3's mp3 playback is inferior to its little brother's ?

Only 'relevant' information I can see, are the codec and the samplingfrequency
codec - MP3 320 kbps
SF - 44.100 kHz

Nothing in there to make them play, I'm afraid...

I could always re-encode them to a different setting... Or burn them to a CD and let the PS3 rip them, but that is too much of a bother...

I'm just interested in why the PSP can play them, and the PS3 can't. Which also brings up the question:
Why is there no RSS feed for the PS3, or Skype, or that otehr messenger client included on the PSP ?
Oh yeah, internetradio would be nice to...
