Of course. We have love for Europe too. We don’t have a firm date yet, but we’re hoping to get you your Free Realms PS3 fix soon."

I downloaded it from the US store last night but havnt been able to log in to the servers so i cant tell you what its like. Yes its free to play BUT you can only level up to level 5, you can still play the mini games, etc, but some quests and activities are locked untill you buy a subscription. Lifetime subscription is somewhere around $35 i think, you can buy one of several subscription options, 1 month, 2 month, 3month, etc. Also once its installed you will notice that this free game comes with trophies, unfortunately you cant earn any of them till you spend the money on a subscription ![]()

NOT "free" realms then in my opinion free would mean full access for FREE, extras for subscription defiantly not "here you go have this, oh by the way its only lvl 5 you can get to then we want your money for this sub-standard product SONY YES YOU , SONY FREE MEANS FU***NG FREE DONT BU*LSH*T ME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's the free to play model. You get a very basic game that you can boost by paying. I played the PC beta and it was quite fun. Its good that we are actually gettin a free to play RPG on the PSN. If you don't want to pay then don't! If you are after a fully fledged MMO with all the bells and whistels for free then I'm afraid you will be disappointed. Even on the PC the games usually have restrictions so you to buy the game. Wouldn't exactly be a brilliant business model giving away games for free would it?

Thanks guys.
I thought it was a bit weird with the subscriptions, i wanna try it too, and if i like i probably get the subscription, at least the subscriptions don't seem to be too much either, unlike WoW -_- the amount people play for that game, you can play free mmos that are better, like Heroes of Three Kingdoms & Dynasty Warriors Online.

Yeah, ive been using play for free games on the PC for ages (ie: Champions Online: Free for All, Battlefield: Heroes, Battlefield: Play4Free, etc.) so it wasnt a huge surprise. I dont like the idea of having to pay for the trophies though. now i have another 0% entry on my trophy list. Unless i like it of course, and that depends on if i can actually get into the game!. At least its fairly cheap and they offer a lifetime subscription. id much rather pay $35 for a lifetime subscription than pay $10-$20 per month like other MMOs do.
