PSN OVER THE NET

Isn't it about time the PSN updated its services when you log in over the internet. I own both a laptop and iphone, and at the best of times when I'm not playing my PS3, I use my computer or devices to log into yhe PSN to see which one of my friends are online. But what would be really cool is an update to the PSN which enables PS3 account holders to log in and communicate with people on there friends list via text or even the lobbies using web cams and mics.

This post is of my opinion only.

Not needed, Facebook & Skype are just around the corner if you wish to contact people.

The only thing that I need; is to be able to deactivate my past PS3s fully, that's all.:smileyindifferent:

I want the messaging option on the iPhone application it would be great. One other good thing I can think of to add, would be this forum built into the application also.

actually McNeilio is right this discussion has been done to death so has the crossgame chat its been done sony add to there firmware what sony think we need. clearly sony dont think we need the stuff you have mentioned or cross game chat and anything else people have voiced there opinions on otherwise if sony did it would already be on the playstation and its not

to be honest from what i have knowing Sony to be like they have never really listened much to what there fans opinions have been so you have more chance of God appearing before you than sony adding anything thats been mentioned by its gamers in the past

This post is of my opinion only.

Sony would only listen, when there is a high demand of certain stuff like, Xgame chat. They don't add functions if it contains mixed or negative reviews. Though on some occassions Sony have done the opposite to this, where they've gone against peoples wishes and added the function anyway; mainly due to security issues. So it's a win/no win situation when it comes to decision making.
