what is with all these people sending stupid spam? i get ones saying if you pass the message on to so many people sony will give you $50 PSN money which isn't true as if sony would give over a million people $50 also another one saying you HAVE to send the message on to shwo your still active or you will be removed we have PSN Plus. is there a way sony can warn these people not to or something will happen to their account instead?

Step 1: Delete the message
Step 2: Delete/Block the person
Step 3: Go and make a sandwich

I haven't received any spam since I started doing that.

that kind of spam (which i have also received) starts with idiots who think its funny/cool, and then forwarded by people who beleive it.

Unfortunately spam will always exsist as long as the internet exsists, whether it be email, mobiles, or playstations.

Stooge - the spam on the PSN only started with the firmware upgrade that allowed cut and paste of PSN messages. All that needs to be done to stop it is to remove it again.

oh ok, well thats good news.

hopefully Sony will fix it up with a firmware upgrade

But remember you will be reporting a friend!! for spamming.........

So once you do so you can't take it back.....

Once they spam me, they are no longer a Friend - refer to Step 2.

Ahhh, step 3, thats where I've been going wrong all this time.

i do block and deleted them but they just keep sending them ive had one person send me one who isn't even on my friends list? what the. well i hope sony removes that i dont even use copy and paste
